This one day conference created by Brentwood School girls for young women everywhere, will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 and will include keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and a special musical performance. The conference is designed to empower young women in grades 8 through 12 to take charge of their future in positive ways that influence and inspire others.

Author Elma Hovanessian will talk about her recent book “One Life, Three Cultures: An Iranian Armenian Odyssey.” This memoir, published by Taderon Press in London, covers over 70 years of her life in Iran, England and the U.S. She says it is a valuable source of information about Iran and its multi-cultural society, including its Jewish and especially its centuries-old Armenian community.
